Polyaniline-tin(IV) molybdophosphate composite exchanger: Photocatalytic behavior and antibacterial activitiy

ABSTRACT. Polyaniline-tin(IV)molybdophosphate composite exchanger was prepared using sol–gel method by mixing polyaniline gel into the inorganic precipitates of tin(IV)molybdophosphate. The ion characterized various techniques such as XRD, UV-Vis, FTIR, SEM-EDX, and PL. Photocatalytic activities antibacterial efficiencies bare polymer (PANI), tin(IV)molybdophosphate (TMP) polyaniline-tin(IV)molybdophosphate (PANI-TMP) were evaluated methylene blue (MB) dye a model organic pollutant Gram negative positive bacteria test microbes, respectively. polyaniline[1]tin(IV)molybdophosphate found to be higher than that (polyaniline) (tin(IV)molybdophosphate) counterparts. results obtained indicated degradation efficiency approximately 73% in 180 min exposure time. Effect scavengers study evidenced most important species process (·O2 - ) (·OH). Highest photocatalytic for studied at initial concentration 10 mg/L MB, 100 catalyst load pH 8. Antibacterial over both single counterparts.
